I regularly interpret Police Interviews, Court Appearances (for witnesses, defendants and/or their families) and in Custody.
Legal consultations outside of court including trial preparation.
I have worked in criminal, family and county courts. I have also worked with HM Prison service.
I hold CTC clearance (issued by Metropolitan Police).
Video Relay Interpreting
With access to various commercial and in-house platforms I provide a video relay service (VRS) from a secure and professional studio.
Handling calls from/to Deaf callers to/from organisations such as UBER, various police forces, His Majesty's Court and Tribunal Service (HMCTS), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), utility companies and other public service organisations.
Additionally, I provide video relay interpreter services (VRI) for Deaf professionals requiring ad-hoc communication support for meetings etc.
Medical, Conference & Community Interpreting
Medical appointments, counselling, physiotherapy, dental and surgical procedures.
Interpreting at AGMs for Councils and corporate businesses as well as smaller community meetings.
Supporting Deaf clients at school and parent meetings.
Various conferences, religious meetings, funerals and weddings.
Office Support
Working with Deaf professionals in the workplace. I have worked with clients in large organisations such as British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Police forces and government departments as well as in small companies and start-ups.
I have experience supporting young people in apprentice programs and first-job placements.
